At COLLEGE PARK INFANT SCHOOL we have ...
'Children Playing, Improving and Smiling'
In order to achieve this vision we aim:-
· To provide for the children's intellectual,
social, emotional, physical and spiritual development;
· To enable the children to grow and learn in a
secure environment where they can face challenges of
increasing difficulty with enjoyment in order that they
may emerge from school creative, responsive, lively and
happy;
· To encourage each child to have confidence in
their individual achievements, to set themselves
challenges and goals and to celebrate their
achievements with pride;
· To foster within each child the ability to
develop secure relationships with others and to be
aware of the respect and care due to all things.
So that we are able to meet these aims all staff are
involved in developing a progressively planned
curriculum based on the National Curriculum. We seek to
raise our standards of achievement through discussion,
evaluation, review and target setting.
We aim to build up a sense of community where everyone
has responsibility, not only for themselves but for
each other; where children feel secure in their own
place and develop tolerance and understanding of
others, including other races, religions and ways of
life. It is in this spirit that we provide equal
opportunities for all, whatever their age, gender,
ethnicity, ability and background.
