Rosemary Craddock : (Chair)
I am pleased to be a Parent Governor and also as from September 2006, Chair of Governors at College Park. I have one child currently at the school, having had others through in previous years. I follow my children’s education closely and becoming a governor has enabled me to invest time in maintaining the high standards at College Park.
Duncan Cope : (Vice-Chair) I am a parent governor who joined the Governing Body in September 2005. Having worked in the Department for Education and Employment I had been keen to contribute as a governor for a number of years and took the opportunity when volunteers were sought, particularly as I am a former pupil of the school.
Edith Casey :
I am a community governor who started in 2006. At work I am a Civil Servant and am involved in Corporate Governance, so professionally my interests are risk mamagement, business continuity and audit. I have a degree in Mathematics and feel strongly that the education system should be working to dispel the fear of maths that many adults have grown up with today. In my private time I am a keen swimmer and enjoy reading and listening to music, but with 3 and 5 year olds I don't get very much spare time.
Mike Park :
I am a local councillor and have been a governor College Park for a number of years. I am chair of the Finance Committee and am a member of the Premises Committee. In this capacity I help to oversee the school's budget and financial procedures plus undertake risk assessments. I very much enjoy visiting and being a part of the school.
Joanne Stanley-Jones :
I am originally from Portsmouth and attended Northern Grammar for Girls (now Mayfield). I now live in Waterlooville and have a daughter aged 3. I work as a Client manager for a Private Bank and my interests include squash and taking holidays.
I became a governor as I wished to do some form of voluntary work and having always enjoyed my days at school, wanted to try and put something back in to education.
